Another terrific day for Ambermist at this year's Perth Royal Show which is our biggest event of the year.  
All four dogs shown gave us their best with "Grace" continuing her amazing success in the show ring. Our show team this year was:

Sadly Australian Champion Willowbrook Hot Tamarli "Tilly" retires from the show ring following emergency surgery due to pyometra 
and consequently being sterilised. We are so happy that Tilly made a rapid return to full health and that we can 
now continue to enjoy her company for many more years.

Critique: "Just what I was hoping for! Very much my type, I cannot deny, but she fitted the Standard as I see it. So feminine with that sweet and gentle expression that oozes ‘Golden Retriever’. Very well balanced all through with excellent neck, straight front legs, well laid shoulders, level topline short coupled body with spring of rib and super hind quarters. Beautifully presented in gleaming gold coat and moving out well. Delighted to give her the CC and BIS over her kennel mate.”

Good shoulders, very good bone, well shaped body with good ribs and depth. Excellent topline, powerful quarters, moves with excellent drive and style, covering the ground. Well presented in hard condition, gleaming coat, well handled and presents a beautiful picture of a true Golden Retriever."

"River" and his grandmother "Grace" and I flew to Adelaide to try our best at the Golden Retriever Club of South Australia championship show under breed specialist judge Mrs Elizabeth Keene from the UK. Both my Goldens gave me 110% in the ring so win or lose they would never disappoint me. However, Mrs Keene appreciated my River and Grace by rewarding them with the following wonderful achievements.

"My notes say ‘this lovely mid gold bitch has all the attributes necessary to achieve top honours’ later it was no surprise to me to discover she has her title.
Totally feminine in head together with gentle expression and dark eyes, outstanding for balance and construction, correct forehand and corresponding hind quarters,
dead level topline, strong in loin and body, moved as I had hoped for from such excellent construction, covered the ground with ease. CC."
